My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wilma, an inspiring survivor whose spirit shines brightly despite her rough start. Found emaciated and tied up in a vacant apartment, Wilma has blossomed into a lively soul, bearing a scar on her chest as a poignant reminder of her journey. She adores playing fetch, expertly bouncing the ball back to your feet, rolling it to you, or even catching it midair with impressive agility. Not only is she an enthusiast of fetch, but Wilma also loves to greet people with a charming handshake, adding a touch of grace to her vibrant personality. Wilma is well-suited for a home with dogs of similar or larger size, or as the only dog where she can soak up all the attention she deserves. Are you the forever companion Wilma has been hoping for?

More about this rescue

Lady's Legacy is dedicated to transforming the lives of stray and abandoned dogs. Inspired by our namesake, Lady, whose life ended too soon, we focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need. Our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation by adopting and transporting dogs from Texas to loving homes in other states, honoring Lady's memory through each life we save.
