My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

‘VIKING’ THEMED KITTEN:  Approx. 2.5 months old / Approx. 3 lbs. & growing

Hi, my name is Torvi – one of the adorable Viking themed kittens!  My siblings and I were born to a stray kitty, who is now part of the Trap-Neuter-Release program.  Mostly Mutts was able to bring us into their program at about 7 weeks old, and we are now growing and thriving in the Kitty Room at the shelter.  Come meet us soon!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I love my siblings very much and would likely enjoy another kitty in my new home to pal around with and learn from, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet!  If you’re looking for 2 kittens, I’m sure I’d love that!  / Dogs unknown, but they must like kittens and be very gentle. / Since I’m a shy kitty, I think older calm kids who know how to handle a kitten gently would be best for me. If you have kids like this, let’s meet.

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  In my foster home, I was the most active kitten of the group – running, jumping, playing and doing flips.  When I arrived at the Kitty Room, I regressed a bit and was initially a shy but sweet kitty who took my time about warming up to folks, but – I have made great progress and am now readily accepting affection and attention.  I kept my foster families laughing at my kitten antics, and I am sure you would be entertained as well.  Because I need a bit of time to adjust in new environments, I’m looking for a nice peaceful type of home in which I can thrive.

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  Now that I am growing more confident, I love to turn on my purr motor while getting lots of petting in a nice soft kitty bed with my siblings. I’ve also become a fan of being held and loved on.  The wand toy is great fun and I have been having a blast playing with it together with my siblings. / I would not want to be adopted into a busy or louder type of home and I’m sure I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention that all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL:  I am up to date on my kitten shots, microchipped and spayed.

I am looking for a patient, peaceful and loving family to give me a great home for life!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse
