My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everybody! It's me Derby! I'm a one year old 26 lb cocker boy looking for my new home. Foster mommy says, "Derby is playful and full of energy. He loves snuggles and to be scratched on. He definitely wants to be the center of attention and is gentle with everyone. He loves dog toys, is a great walker and fully potty trained too!" Derby was kept in a cage as a breeder dog because of his beauty, but those days are behind him now! Derby has so much love to share and it shows in his constant tailwags and slurpy kisses LOL. If interested in adopting Derby please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $450.00 P.S. Thank you to Mark Stemmermann. Bold City Media, boldcitymedia.com, for some wonderful photos of Derby!

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
