Nice small friendly girl good with other pups. already vetted except for hw test. more info to come when she arrives. Need a knowledgeable foster or foster to adopt who loves small dogs.
7/3 This is Chiquita or Cheeki for short. She is 2 yrs old 21 pds of love, wet kisses, with a wonderful disposition! Loves other dogs all people!! Crate trained, housebroken, does need some leash work!! Would be an awesome agility /disc dog. Agile fast toy and play drive. Shares with others! Chi staffy mix and will always be small!!! Does have an off switch, but would be perfect for hiking, biking, jogging partner!!!!Wonderful happy girl waiting for her forever!!! Fostered in Bradenton. PUPDATE Cheeki has been diagnosed with a seizure disorder. the origin may have been my cleaner for floors. She is currently on anticonvulsant meds and doing well. We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
