My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Junebug, a friendly and lovable dog who's on the mend and ready to find her forever home! Junebug is currently working on her house training and uses potty pads in the meantime. She enjoys her walks, and cuddling, and absolutely loves to eat-especially when it involves taking her medication in hot dogs! Junebug is also a fan of toys and loves to play.

Junebug is a sweetheart who initially gets very curious about cats but settles in well after a proper decompression period. She has shown she can coexist peacefully with feline friends once she's adjusted.

Though she barks occasionally, she doesn't howl, making her a relatively quiet companion. She's very friendly with people and enjoys making new human friends. Junebug knows basic training cues and is very fond of her dog bed, where she can relax after a fun day.

This brave girl is currently in rehabilitation after undergoing a double Femoral Head Ostectomy surgery on both hips. She's slowly regaining strength in her hind legs and is making great progress. Junebug is also heartworm positive and is patiently waiting for her re-test in early October 2024.

If you're looking for a sweet, friendly dog who's full of love and ready to share her journey with you, Junebug could be the perfect fit. She's a resilient and affectionate companion who's eager to find a loving home where she can continue to thrive!
