My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shifu – The Gentle and Balanced Companion

Meet Shifu, a calm and friendly cat who’s looking for a loving home where he can enjoy a peaceful life. Shifu is a well-mannered kitty who gets along well with cats, dogs, and children, making him a great addition to a family with multiple pets or kiddos. While he’s not overly affectionate, Shifu is far from being avoidant of people. He’s happy to be around his humans, offering quiet companionship without being demanding.

Shifu is a laid-back cat who would thrive in a low to medium-activity household. He’s not a fan of excessive noise or chaos, so he would do best in a calm environment where things aren’t too hectic. Shifu's gentle nature and easygoing personality make him a generally good cat who will add peace and quiet to your home.

Shifu’s journey hasn't been easy—he came from a difficult environment, and a kind-hearted dog reached out to us for help. Despite his past, Shifu is ready to find a safe, loving home where he can relax and be himself. If you're looking for a cat who is gentle, independent, and enjoys a calm lifestyle, Shifu is ready to be your loyal companion. With patience and understanding, he’ll become a wonderful member of your family.

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adotpion have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip resgistration. To apply to adopt, please visit our website www.fcocinc.org and click "Adopt" under the cat you're interested in.
