Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Porthos is a gray/black tabby male born in a shed to a feral mom. While he has come a long way, he is still shy and may benefit from being adopted with a sibling as it may help him adapt to a new home/environment. When given the time to earn his trust, Porthos will have a very strong bond with his people, most likely even stronger than most cats have with their people.
Cats are either bush dwellers (like to stay low to the ground) or tree dwellers (prefer to be up high like in a tree). Porthos is definitely a tree dweller as he likes to be perched up high on a shelf or a tall cat tree where he can observe his surroundings. Porthos enjoys butt scratches but loud noises and sudden movements still make him a little scared. He is litterbox trained and food motivated.
Porthos is very healthy, testing negative for feline leukemia and FIV and will be neutered very soon. The $125 adoption fee includes the neuter, combo testing, 2 distemper vaccines, a rabies vaccine, deworming and deflea.
Please give this gorgeous little sweetheart a chance and he will love you forever. And if you have room in your heart for 2 kitties, Porthos has 3 brothers to make up the Musketeers (Aramis, D'artagnan and Athos), and 1 sister - Lady. We offer deep discounts for adopting 2 together so you'll have twice the love and fun. For more information, please email info@angelstotheanimals.org. Must be 22 to apply.
