My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UNFORTUNATELY -- WE CANNOT ADOPT TO ANYONE IN MA DUE TO MA STATE LAWS.

NAME: Peach

Approx Birth Date: 7/17/2022

BREED: Domestic Short Hair

BIO: Peach is the mother of a litter of six very sweet kittens (Lyche, Plum, Cherry, Apricot, Nectarine,
Mango). She and her kittens were found outside then placed in a foster home where she did an amazing
job of raising her kittens. After her time as diligent mother, her kittens are adoption age and she’s
looking for a home of her own. Peach doesn’t like to be touched, but she loves to play and relax around
the house. She’s comfortable being around people, but just doesn’t want to interact with them. She
absolutely loves other cats and is very playful, a real “cat’s cat.” Peach would best be suited to a barn cat
lifestyle, an indoor lifestyle with someone that has a lonely single cat, or with someone who is alright
with a cat that doesn’t want to be touched.  Whe would love to be adopted with one of her kittens!! As you see in the photos, she is always with one of her babies and truly enjoys their company.

More about this rescue

CLAWS is an incorporated 501(c)3 non-profit organization, operated 100% by volunteers with 30+ years of collective experience. We have a cooperative team of foster homes dedicated to rescue, fostering, healing, and spay/neutering cats and kittens, then adopting them into forever homes where they are cherished family members for the rest of their lives. We do not have a physical, single-location shelter facility.

CLAWS: Cats Lives Are Worth Saving is committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2018, we have been supporting our community in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.

CLAWS if primarily based in central Arkansas, but we do adopt cats to residents of the northeast US, mostly to Rhode Island and Connecticut. Due to state licensing and health department regulations, we are unable at this time to adopt cats to residents of Massachusetts. The cats adopted to northeast homes are sent via established, registered, and fully licensed pet transport agencies.
