Meet Zuko! He is an ten-month-old Husky/Shepherd mix who weighs 22 pounds. Zuko is the handsome boy you have been searching for! Not only is he good-looking but he has a wonderful heart for everyone he meets. He is good with dogs, curious about cats, and loves people. He likes to play with other dogs, whether at home or in doggy daycare. He enjoys car rides and making new friends (both the two-legged and four-legged kind). He loves to stretch out with his belly towards the sky to relax and sleep. He loves to be close by and will easily become your best friend! He likes to play outside with toys but loves a good bone to chew on indoors. Zuko is working on basic commands, walking on a leash, and socializing with other dogs. He is very smart and will benefit from training and socialization. Zuko would do best with someone who has experience with puppies. Zuko would do great in a home where gets lots of love and attention. He is crate-trained for sleeping and potty-trained. Zuko started life as a stray and is looking for his forever home. Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
