My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what my shelter friends said about me: "I actually walked right past his kennel at first because the little guy was huddled in the corner. As I talked to him and gave him treats he came to the front of the kennel and he gave me some tail wags. The poor guy was shivering as we walked out past the loud kennels. Once in the play run he plopped down and was ready for belly scratches and cuddles. He wasn't ready for play time or running around quite yet. He's a true medium sized dog, and can't be more than 35 Ibs. I scooped him up and cuddled with him while we took some pictures. He allowed a playful dog to come over, sniff him and hang out in his space without a problem. He's one of those pups that is just cool with hanging by your side. Benny is quiet, sweet, and gentle BUT with some time to decompress in a foster home, I think his playful side with come through! Give this cutie a chance, you wont regret it!"
