Meet Cameron!!
This cute little boy is about 3 months old. We believe he is a Labrador Retriever/Pit Terrier mix. He currently weighs about 17 pounds. We are anticipating he will be about 50 full grown.
Cameron is a very confident little pup!! He is ready to have a family of his own that can teach him how to be a pup and go on lots of adventures!!
Cameron is used to being around all of his siblings and would probably enjoy having another playmate in his future home. When it comes to other dogs, he seems to want to be dominant and more in charge during play time. He would probably do best with another submissive dog in the home.
We have no idea what he thinks about cats.
Cameron is still a young pup, so he will require a lot of time, patience, energy and training. As well as a few more vaccines over the next couple months.
Cameron is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $85.

You can come in anytime we are open to meet all of our adoptable animals.

2.
Submit Application

You can fill out an application our website https://hspets.org/adoption-application/ or in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once we approve your application, you can take your new family member home the same day you come to the shelter.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, but will do same day adoptions if all the necessary information can be acquired (vet reference, landlord approval). The adoption fee for our dogs is $85, adult cats are $30 and our kittens are $55. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchips, age appropriate vaccinations, a negative heartworm test (dogs) or FIV/Feleuk test (cats) and a 2 week health guarantee.

Animals who have special needs/are less adoptable may also be shown by appointment outside of open hours. Offsite events are occasionally held as well.

The Humane Society of Stillwater operates an adoption guaranteed, nonprofit animal shelter that exists on donations from the public. We house dogs and cats until they are adopted into approved homes. We transfer cats and dogs into our shelter from other shelter's euthanasia lists and we keep them until they pick their forever families.
