My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Rafael, Michaelangelo, Donatello & April are at Cat & Craft adoption center. ***

Rafael: solid white with orange, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/17/24, #19197
Michaelangelo: black/white bicolor, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/17/24, #19198
Donatello: white with black spots, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/17/24, #19200
April: solid black, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/17/24, #19220

Cats: mixed requirements, see below
Dogs: good
Children: respectful kids okay

These inquisitive and friendly kittens were spotted peeking out of a storm drain by a very lovely woman on base at MCAS Miramar. She coaxed them out to her and brought them home with her so they could find a better life. They are rough-and-tumble, and love to play (everything is a toy!) and cuddle, either with each other or whoever is the nearest person.

---Rafael (Rafi) fits the orange cat stereotype of sassy to a T! He's brave and chatty, and looks out for Don. He likes to wrestle with his sibs and pounce on them from above.
---Michaelangelo (Mikey) is the most playful of the group. Mikey only has two speeds: Play! and Sleep! He checks in regularly with his foster parents to make sure they're good, but then he's off to play with whatever "cat toy" he's discovered last. He will need a feline buddy to help him burn off the extra energy.
---Donatello (Don) is the most reserved of the group and takes a while to warm up to strangers. He depends on Rafi to make him feel more confident. He is the biggest snuggle-bug and the goofiest of the group once he feels comfortable (he has the funniest poses!), but will hide until he gets to that point.
---April takes her role as the only girl very seriously! She tries her best to beat up all her brothers and keep them in line, but she's also the smallest, so she doesn't always succeed. She is the most likely to do her own thing, and enjoys having alone time to relax.
---Rafael and Donatello are a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together!

All of these kitties have been fostered in a house with adult cats, one small and one high-energy medium-size dog, and a teenager. They have met younger children and are fine with them so long as the children are respectful to them. Rafi and Don are bonded; Mikey must have a kitty companion; and April would be okay as a solo kitty but would prefer having animal friends.

These kittens were doing their best to survive a tough start. We believe they were dumped shortly before they were found, as they are so friendly, but we don't know how long they were on their own. Even without Master Splinter to keep watch over them, they've managed to thrive, and are hoping to find their forever homes with you!
