My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Easton here! I am a cute mid-size terrier mix that is hopeful that I will find a new home soon! I am a great size, I have a sweet personality, and I have amazing ears! I was picked up by a kind stranger who was on his way to work when he saw me on the road. He could not in good conscious drive by and leave me to fend for myself! So I rode to the shelter with him where I was well cared for while they tried desperately to find me a safe place to wait. A private facility that houses dogs called and opened several dog runs for some of us to come and wait. We are all so happy to have the help of the shelter and the community. You can apply to adopt me by filling out the adoption application online and then come in to meet me in person! I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. Please come in and ask about me! When I leave the "building" another dog will be able to take my place! Isn't that what it's all about? Community and shelters working together to help the homeless pets?

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
