My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spice up your life with Cayenne!
The fun, goofy girl who’s guaranteed to add some flavor to your days! This sweet pup came to the shelter as a stray, but she’s here to steal your heart with her silly antics and love for attention. Cayenne is a pro at making new doggy friends and gets along great with her fellow furry pals! Whether she’s making you laugh with her playful personality or snuggling up for some well-earned belly rubs, Cayenne is all about fun, love, and a whole lot of wagging tails. If you`re looking for a lovable goofball to keep you smiling, Cayenne is your girl!

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs....great!! The first step is coming in and meeting the dog in person. If you have any small children or other dogs in the household we do recommend that you bring them in for an introduction. If you are interested we would have you complete an adoption application. We do not require fenced in yards. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated, and the adoption fee is $125 which also includes a current dog license for Lucas County. We do adopt out of state and to other counties, but the dog would need to leave our facility with a current license. We do hold adoption events and have reduced adoption fees for specials throughout the year. Please check out our FaceBook page for events.
