Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Quack and his two sisters had a respiratory illness and were rescued from euthanasia when they were 5-6 weeks old. They've grown into happy, friendly, healthy kittens. His sisters have been adopted, and now it’s his turn! Quack is such a playful little goofball! His foster mom loves how goofy and friendly he is - he gets along with everyone and isn't afraid of new people. He is a very chill, yet very curious little guy and always wants to know what's happening around him.
He likes to sleep pretty much anywhere, and enjoys curling up next to you on the bed. He isn't a fan of nail trims, but he’s pretty easygoing about everything else. He eats wet food (Fancy Feast kitten pate) and dry kibble and his favorite treats are squeezy treats like Inaba Churu. He almost always has food stuck to his nose after he eats!
He likes all toys, but he LOVES springs and wrestling with his kitty foster siblings! He gets along great with the other cats and two small dogs in his foster home and he really loves playing with their Cavapoo puppy. He hasn't met any small children yet, but with his friendly personality would probably do fine. Since he's such a playful guy, Quack would be happiest in a home with another friendly kitty or doggy sibling. Please consider adopting Quack with another kitten if you don't already have a friendly pet at home!

We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

More about this rescue
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce feral cat population in Hampton Roads by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens for adoption into loving forever homes. We are a VDACS registered 501c3 nonprofit, founded in 2014 with over 60 foster homes.
Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
We are always seeking fosters, volunteers, transporters, and trappers to join our team!
We also appreciate donations! Find our most needed items
