Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, My name is Melrose and I am a one year old cat who came from a local rescue here in Massachusetts. I'm known for my beautiful green eyes and shiny black coat. I am a bit shy and will need lots of time and space to warm up to my people. A quiet home with low traffic would be the best match for me. A place that has lots of comfy nap places for when I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Staff here feel that once I'm in a home with a consistent group of people, I will come out of my shell even more and will ask for all the love. I really enjoy snacks, whether it's crunchy ones or Churu sticks! I am a special needs adoption because I am FIV+, given this I will need to be an indoor only cat. If you're cat experienced and are willing to give me the time I need to adjust and trust you, consider applying for me today! Once your application has been approved, my friends here at the shelter will reach out to you to make an appointment to meet me!
