My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Loki, a gentle soul looking for his forever family. He is just over 1 year old with soft and plush fur and soulful eyes that reveal his sweet nature. Loki is very shy and tends to be cautious around new people (will nervously bark) but with patience, gentle encouragement and another dog by his side, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. For that reason, it is a requirement that you have a social and friendly dog that he can be friends with. You will be asked to travel to his foster home in Jacksonville, with your dog, for a meet and greet. Loki is most comfortable with females but he has been making big progress with his current foster dad. He will thrive in a calm environment in which he can build confidence at his own pace, but also get guidance on how to help him face his fears. He enjoys daily walks and good ol' play time with a ball in the yard. He is crate trained and housebroken as well. He does have a mild hip dysplasia so daily walks and supervised zoomies are recommended. Loki has not been fully introduced to cats so a home with no cats would be best. He is also terrified of little kids. His adoption fee is $250.
