My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Obi, your future best friend with a dash of adventure and a heart full of love! Obi is the perfect blend of playful energy and thoughtful charm. He's the kind of dog who'll join you for every fun outing, from hitting the park for some splash-tastic water play to hopping into the car, ready to cruise with his ears flapping in the wind. He's also got the moves, mastering commands like sit, stay, lay down, and come here - and he's always up for showing off his skills if treats are involved!

Obi's a total social butterfly with a soft spot for smaller dog pals and a knack for charming everyone he meets. He's lived with kids, so he knows how to be both gentle and fun, and he's leash-trained with an impressive heel command. When he's not in play mode, he's a certified cuddle pro, famous for giving sweet kisses and cozying up beside you. If you're looking for a loyal buddy who's always ready for the next adventure or a quiet night in, Obi's the one who'll happily be by your side for it all!

More about this shelter

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis.

Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by:

•Providing humane care for pets in transition
•Facilitating adoptions to loving homes
•Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public
•Supporting sterilization of companion animals
