My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Captain, a 2 year old male German Shepherd. When we take him out to the play yard, the boy likes to show off his talents. Toss a ball and he will retrieve it and drop it at your feet. He can catch the ball midair too. He knows several common obedience commands like, sit and stay.

Captain is very playful, and being only 2 yrs old, he has plenty of puppy-like enthusiasm to share. His coat is rich and thick so be prepared to thoroughly brush him a few times a week. He likes it, and it`s a great bonding time too!

Captain would love to be your new best pal. Come meet him and make him your new fur baby.

?? **Adopt Captain!** ??From Captain`s Hiking Volunteer:

Meet **Captain**, a 2.5-year-old German Shepherd looking for his forever home at the Burbank Animal Shelter! ?? This handsome boy is as sweet as they come—he loves people, is friendly to everyone he meets, and is a fantastic companion for car rides. ?? Whether you`re headed to the park or just cruising around town, Captain will be right by your side, happy and calm.

Captain is also a leash-walking pro! ?? He enjoys his walks and would love an active owner who can give him plenty of exercise and adventure. However, Captain prefers to be the only dog in the household and is best suited for a home where he can be the center of attention and showered with love!

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving dog to make your days brighter, Captain is your guy! ??
