Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Every day is a celebration with Parker. She wakes up ready for belly rubs, and then heads out to conquer her world! She is a fantastic huntress, crouching in tall grasses and plucking moths or butterflies from the sky. She is mostly potty trained and, to be honest, it's usually miscommunication between her people that leads to accidents. She loves her crate, and a few bits of cereal are all that's needed to tell her when to enter. Parker likes to be in charge so, if you have a strong leader in your pack that isn't 75 pounds, she will test them. She does not have much leash experience yet, but is a quick learner. Parker will do well in a home that is active and has routines. This is no couch potato. If you like a peppy pup, Parker is your girl!
Parker would be best with a fenced in yard and a canine sibling. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and adventurous new friend, Parker is the baby for you! Here's to many adventures and cuddles to come!
Come meet our adoptable dogs on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm in the backyard at AARF's new location- 302 Thurston St, W-S. Go to AARFWS.org to view and apply for our AARF dogs. Information about the process is available on our website. Remember that we do not adopt more than a 45-minute radius from our facility in Winston Salem.
