My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Nick, a 6-month-old pup with the most beautiful hazel-colored eyes and a bright outlook on life. Nick has the friendliest demeanor, despite ending up at a rural animal control at just four months old. He and his brother spent a month there confined to a pen before being pulled into rescue, escaping euthanasia at the last minute. 

Nick is now enjoying the good life in a foster home with his brother where he’s nailing potty training and working on crate training. Nick loves to run and play, and he loves to be loved by his foster family. He is super friendly and good natured. Nick also enjoys a good car ride and doesn’t get car sick. Pretty impressive for such a young pup. 

Nick goes to work at a local dog food store with his foster dad and he does great behind the counter, greeting all the customers with a wagging tail when he’s not napping. 

We think Nick is likely a mix of husky and hound, with probably a few other breeds as well. He currently weighs 30 lbs and we think he’ll be in the 50-pound range when full grown.
