Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Percy, an approximately 10-month-old pup whose calm demeanor and soulful eyes caught his foster mom’s eye when she visited a rural animal control to pull another dog. She was immediately drawn to him and impressed by his friendly but calm ways. Percy was a little underweight, which meant euthanasia as soon as his stray hold was up. She decided she couldn’t leave him behind.
Percy is now enjoying a peaceful life in his new foster home. His playful, happy side comes out when he plays with the other dogs, but you’ll most likely find Percy partaking in his favorite activity — napping in the middle of the kitchen. Percy is a super chill dog and has an old soul for such a young dog. Percy loves to eat and has been eating four times a day to gain some weight. He’s looking so good!
Percy also loves attention from his humans. He gently puts his face on your arm seeking some pets. He’s great with visitors. Greets them with tail wagging but doesn’t jump all over them. He’s also great with other dogs, getting along splendidly with a wide variety of dog personality types in his foster home.
Among his many wonderful qualities, he’s also potty trained, sleeps quietly in his crate at night and is past his destructive puppy phase. He’s a 10/10 good boy!
Percy weighs around 50 lbs and probably won’t get much bigger, likely topping out under 60 lbs. While we’re not sure what his breed is, we’re guessing he may be a mix of hound and lab. He does bark on the rare occasion, but he has watched the mailman walk up to the house and hasn’t made a peep. He’s a very impressive young fella who will be forever grateful to the family he gets to call his forever family. Could it be your family? ”
