Almost 2 years old now, and has spent a few months with a very dedicated foster mom. She’s received love and care and training! This is what her foster mom has to say…
She’s a really great dog. She’s gotten to be very affectionate, shes a little shy but she’s great with meeting people at the dog park as long as they let her approach. She gets along great with other dogs. She’s fully house trained, never had an accident. She’s incredibly athletic and loves to run and play chase. She HAS to have an outlet for exercise but she doesn’t have any destructive behaviors at all. She’s crate trainer but i never crate her. She likes to chew so I always have something for her but she doesn’t bother anything in the house.
She is an opportunist with open doors and open gates and open car doors or windows. But she doesn’t run away, she just wants to run around and play chase or explore. But she stays in close proximity, she just won’t always come to be caught. We are working on her recall - she has improved a TON from the beginning where I couldn’t catch her at all ever. She used to avoid being caught - to the point she would run circles around you for hours but now she will let me catch her and she will get in the car most of the time. She still needs encouragement sometimes but she’s a million times better than she used to be.
She’s a cuddle bug and wants to sleep with her head laying on you somewhere.
