My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Asteria, a petite little beauty with a big heart full of love and affection. This sweet black-and-white girl is all about cuddles and attention, and she’ll quickly win you over with her gentle spirit and loving nature. Asteria is the kind of cat who craves human companionship and is always ready for a snuggle session. She loves being held and cuddled, happily following her humans around the house for those sweet moments of closeness. Whether you're sitting on the couch or moving from room to room, Asteria will happily settle into your lap or curl up beside you—her purring presence a constant reminder of how much she adores being loved.

Asteria gets along wonderfully with people of all ages and is great with kids, making her the perfect family companion. She’s also very comfortable with other cats, happily sharing space and affection with her feline friends. While she’s not yet sure about dogs, her affectionate nature and easy-going demeanor suggest that, with a little time and patience, she could adjust to any new furry friends.

This sweet girl is the perfect match for anyone looking for a loving, low-maintenance companion who will happily bask in all the attention and affection you can offer. Asteria’s gentle heart and playful spirit make her an absolute joy to have around, and she’s ready to make your house feel like home with her endless cuddles and loving presence.

Asteria came in to St. John's County Animal Control/Pet Center as a citizen turn-in
