Hi, my name is Aires! I’m about 6 months old and bursting with puppy energy. My foster family thinks I'm a German Shepherd/Heeler mix, and they estimate I'll be around 40-45 pounds when fully grown. I’m spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, crate-trained, and house-trained. Plus, I already know basic commands like sit, down, and wait/stay.
I'm currently being fostered in NE Mesa with other dogs ranging from 10 pounds to 80 pounds, and I LOVE playing with them, especially my 10-pound foster brother! My foster family thinks I have some Heeler in me because I like to 'herd' the other dogs when we run and chase each other in the yard.
Since I'm still a puppy, I need a yard for plenty of playtime, exercise, toys, and fetching balls. I’d probably do best with children over the age of 5 and would enjoy having another older doggie friend too. I'm very loyal to the humans in my life and love to be close to them when we're just chilling in the house. I’m a great snuggler and know how to use my adorable puppy eyes to get extra pets. I’d make an excellent hiking or camping companion as well!

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
