Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE - Meet Jaxson, a handsome 2-year-old, 95 lb neutered male Saint Bernard. He came to us from Dallas, Texas, where he was surrendered by his owner.
Jaxson is a kind, friendly, and happy-go-lucky goofball who loves kids and is fine around other dogs once properly introduced. During the three months he’s been with us, Jaxson has shown incredible progress. He’s now crate trained, great on a leash, knows basic commands, and is eager to cuddle and please. Initially reactive to other dogs, Jaxson has improved significantly with the help of a canine behaviorist. He can now sit and stay quietly when other dogs are nearby and even follow another dog without barking.
Jaxson’s temperament is sweet and gentle. He’s a really good dog who instantly rolls on his back for tummy rubs whenever you approach him. My 8-year-old son loves to cuddle with him, and Jaxson’s calm, loving nature makes him a perfect companion.
Unfortunately, we are unable to keep Jaxson due to our senior cat, who is terrified of him. Despite Jaxson’s progress and lack of interest in the cat now, the initial improper introduction caused our cat immense stress. The cat hides and has even urinated on himself in fear. If it weren’t for our cat’s health, we would keep Jaxson without hesitation.
Jaxson will make a family very happy. He’s improving and learning every day, and his loving nature is sure to bring joy to his future home.
