My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Milo!

This G O R G E O U S boy is ready for a forever home or a foster home!

Milo is about 1.5 years old and a large 70lb boy - the pictures are deceiving! He's tall. He absolutely LOVES to play with other dogs and would dream of having a yard. We were told no cats for Milo and he would likely knock over little kids, but he has been sweet with older kids. He has big goofy puppy energy.

Milo loves toys , balls , walks and playtime. He's affectionate too and will happily give you slobbery kisses! He needs someone who works from home or is home a lot. He would do great with another dog and a fenced yard or as your only dog as long as you had a place to let him romp around and get his energy out.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Milo, please complete an application below. He is in Tampa and is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $400.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
