Meet Cafe, an adult cat with a personality as rich as her namesake. She's a unique blend of quirky, sweet, funny, and friendly, always ready to brighten your day with her charming antics.
Cafe has a knack for conversation, her chatty nature making her a delightful companion. She's also fond of face rubs, she loves to rub her face on every surface she can find. Its Cafe's way of showing her affection in the most endearing way.
Once a caring momma, Cafe knows the importance of love and warmth. Cafe was found severely malnourished with her kittens in a hoarding house. Cafe has made a full recovery and her kittens are all grown.
She's a testament to resilience, adapting to her new surroundings with grace. Her past may be marked by the chaos of a hoarding house, but her spirit remains unbroken.
Due to her hoarding house past Cafe needs a calm and patient home environment. She is still learning how to play and receive love and affection.
Cafe deserves a home where her sweetness can be appreciated, her goofiness can bring laughter, and her love can create lifelong bonds.
Adopt Cafe, and let her add a dash of joy to your everyday life.
Cafe is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
