My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiara was dumped at a friend's house and the owner never came back for her. The friend was unable to keep her so surrendered her to rescue. Kiara is really a great little dog. She is a little shy and picks a human and stays close to them. She’s very sweet and would love to become part of a family. She has been around an infant and a 12 year old child. Kiara rides really well in a car and will sit or lay down in the passenger seat. She likes smaller dog but big dogs scare her. People wearing any kind of hats also scare her and she will growl. We do not know what she thinks about cats. She is about a year old and weighs 25 lb. Please help Kiara find the loving home she deserves.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Kiara's adoption fee is $400. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
