My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome to the wizarding world of Ron and Ginny! This magical match is spunky and completely devoted to one another. Ginny is the extrovert of the pair and is playful and curious! She loves meeting new people and it will take no time to start exploring her new surroundings. And her purr! She purrs NON-STOP! Ron is more of an introvert who prefers his alone time. Ron has the softest fur you will ever lay your hands on. It’s like having a living teddy bear, especially since he loves to come out to greet and sit beside you, once he’s comfortable. Speaking of purrs, he has the funniest little purr that needs to be heard to be believed. Ron and Ginny love to hang out in cat trees, particularly if positioned to allow them to look out a window. They both enjoy tube treats and burning their energy off with wand toys or toys that make noise! This duo will hang out independently when they want to, and give you attention when you ask. While both kitties can be bashful upon meeting new people, they will warm up to you in no time. They’ll express their love by grooming each other and you! While they have lived in a home with a dog previously, Ron and Ginny will be perfect companions in a home with no other cats as they only have eyes for each other. They are ok with older children.

Ginny and Ron were surrendered to us when their owner could no longer give them the care they felt they deserved. Ron and Ginny are now ready to find their new forever home at last.

If you are looking for a pair of cats who are totally devoted to each other and offer you the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, you will want to meet Ron and Ginny!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
