Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
You bring the sugar; we`ll bring the lemons! Lemon is a 3 1/2-year-old kitty more refreshing than a cool glass of lemonade on a hot day. This tortie girl is a stunner in her orange and black coat. As a big believer in `personal space,` this pretty girl would like a home where she and her people can relax near each other, not on each other. If you think you can match her energy, she will have more than enough love to give to be your one and only! Lemon prefers to be the queen of her kingdom by being the only pet in the home, preferably without young children. She is perfectly content to lay with her human as they read, watch TV, or window watch with her. Looking for a cool cat in the summer heat? Give Lemon a try!
Lemon is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take Lemon home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!
If you`d like to meet our available animals, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
