Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Located in Troy, MO
Madonna is a happy and spunky girl that started her life in a puppy mill. She came to us with a sparse coat, thin and a docked tail. Her coat is filling in and looks so much healthier and she has gained some weight where her ribs are no longer showing. As for her tail, well that won't change but it adds to her charm!
Madonna likes to follow her person around and she is a busy girl who loves to play! She likes playing with other dogs and would enjoy a playmate (kids or dog) in her new home! Her favorite activity is fetch! Her little ears are so adorable as she runs back to you!
Madonna is a curious girl and always trying to figure things out. She is crate trained, loves treats, and is happy to please her people.
Madonna's adoption fee is $500. She is microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines and on monthly heart worm prevention. She has not been spayed due to her young age (we spay at 6 months). A spay contract is required. Next steps can be found at leiashope.org.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
