Meet one of a kind Jewel!
Jewel is a sweet girl with stunning looks to boot. She gets along with people, dogs, and cats and would be a great addition to any home! She’s very adaptable and we think she’d thrive either with other animals or as a single pet soaking up all the love. She’s curious, playful, and her evening zoomies will surely entertain! Her favorite thing in the world is a wand toy with feathers. She does tend to hide when there is a lot of hustle and bustle so older or no children would be ideal for this queen. She’s very social even with guests when they’re low key.
Jewel is estimated to be about 3 years old. She’s FIV+ but is friendly with cats so she can easily and safely live with an FIV- cat (only transferred through deep muscle bites, this won’t happen during play). Jewel is also a diabetic in remission. Her levels are controlled with a low carb, non-prescription wet food diet, which is a healthy option for all cats. She needs to be schedule fed 3 times a day to maintain proper blood sugar levels, but they make automatic feeders for that! Yearly vet visits are required with any cat but are extra important for Jewel to keep her healthy.

More about this rescue
The Euclid Beach Cat Project is a 501(c)(3), non profit rescue group. We take in, socialize, vet and adopt out cats and kittens, as well as trap-neuter-return (TNR) and manage feral colonies. There are so many homeless, abandoned and vulnerable cats and kittens needing homes, medical care and to be spayed/neutered. We try to help as many cats find a home as we can. If they are feral, we practice TNR and make sure either a caregiver or someone with this rescue continues to provide for them.
