My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katie is a very affectionate and intelligent buff tabby girl. Did you know only 20% of orange tabbies are female? Katie would love a chance to tell you about how special she really is. She is a gentle lap cat who adores her people and asks for your attention. She will greet you at the door when you come home and will listen while you tell her how your day went. Katie was around her prior owner's dog and would do well with a cat-savvy dog buddy. Katie is a curious, confident cat who will readily interact with people. When she's ready to play, she will nip lightly on her person's arm for attention. She has a general schedule of wanting play time first thing in the morning and later in the evening.

Katie is being cared for in one of our foster homes. To meet her, fill out an application on our website and we'll be in touch.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center.
