Mimi is a sweet and active lab/terrier mix who is looking for a forever home where she can continue the progress her foster family has made with her training. As a “velcro dog,” Mimi loves being with her humans, but she’s also learning to build confidence so that she can be left alone in her crate without anxiety. Crate training is an ongoing process for her, helping her become more relaxed and comfortable when her humans are away. This is an important step for Mimi to be able to travel and adapt to different environments without stress or mischief.

Even though Mimi is 9 years old, she still has plenty of energy and enjoys staying active. She will thrive in a home that continues to support her training, particularly with crate training, to ensure she remains calm and confident when left alone. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
