Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This is Mimi but more commonly known as Mia! She is a 9 year old lab/terrier mix with a heart of gold. Mia’s greatest joy in life is derived from being around people. She embodies the quintessential Velcro-dog stereotype, as she loves following her owner to make sure she never misses a thing. She loves cuddles, belly rubs, and sleeping in the bed. Mia also feeds off of being physically active. She’s just as happy to play fetch until your arm gets tired, or going on a walk until you’re exhausted. It’s never Mia who quits, it’s always the human! But when it’s time to settle down, Mia is just as happy curling up and catching some zzz’s.
Mia’s greatest challenge is her separation anxiety. She needs a strong, experienced leader who will be with her constantly and provide guidance. When humans are away, she needs to be around another dog, as her greatest fear is being left alone.
Mia would love nothing more than a constant companion to love and adore. Her ideal home would be one with a strong, consistent human presence, another dog to keep her company, and a fenced in yard for exercise and play. If you are interested in learning more we would be happy to answer any and all questions.***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
