2 Year Old Rough Coated Collie Fini is a handsome boy! This 70lb dude has been settling into his foster home really well! Fini is a bright and eager pup who's been making fantastic progress in his training! He's smart, responsive, and eager to learn, making him a great companion for someone who loves an active and engaged dog. Recently, with the help of his trainer Lindsey from Dream Come True K9, Fini has been learning how to walk with better control, following his human's lead, and thriving with the proper training tools. He’s also adjusting to a new routine that includes more structured crate time, which is helping him feel secure and confident. Fini is already showing improvements in his behavior, especially on walks where he’s learning to listen and follow commands. He’s a quick learner, and with his newfound confidence, he's on the path to becoming an even better companion! With the support of the Rescue City team, training and foster mom, Fini’s future is looking bright! He's well on his way to finding his forever home, and his potential to be a loyal and loving companion is clear. The adoption fees are as follows:

All Puppies up to 1 Year Old: $600
All Dogs up to 8 Years Old: $500
All Dogs 8 Years Old+: $350

The adoption donation fee covers all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter surgeries, parasite treatment, cost of supplies for food, shelter, transport and comfort while under the care of Rescue City, and additional medical or behavioral resources when necessary (x-rays, cardiograms, training, etc.).

The first step of the adoption process is to complete an adoption application in full at www.rescuecity.nyc. All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout the city. We do not have a physical location where we keep dogs.

Rescue City is a no-kill, non-profit1 pet rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption organization. Our team of dedicated volunteers is based in Brooklyn, NY and serves the NYC metro and surrounding areas.

Our organization’s motto is: There’s a person for every dog, and there’s a dog for every person…it’s just a matter of time. This applies whether you are looking to adopt a pet, or would like to make a positive impact on the lives of animals. At Rescue City we believe it is our moral responsibility to defend the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals.
We take on helpless stray and surrendered animals, as well as those at the top of the euthanasia list at local and international shelters. We place our rescues in nurturing foster homes while they rebuild their lives through physical and mental rehabilitation. Following a thorough – but hassle free – adoption process, our Rescues are placed in loving, responsible, and committed permanent homes. Every rescue is fully vetted and altered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated upon adoption. Our commitment to our rescues does not stop once the adoption paperwork is signed. We stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our Fosters, Adopters, and community on what it means to be a good pet owner.
