This helps Paws in Middle Georgia Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
This handsome young pup came to us suffering tick paralysis. After a few days of meds, he started to get his legs under him. With the help of our volunteers, he quickly worked through rehab to become a typical boisterous puppy.
Legend has been staying with fosters recently. He sleeps quietly overnight in his crate with no accidents. He's aced housetraining with just a couple accidents. He also plays well with dogs and cats.
Legend also really enjoys playing in the water. He had a blast in the sprinklers at his overnight. He loves the kiddy pool at the rescue. And he went on a field trip to one of our volunteers home where he got to swim in the big boy pool!
One should think of a lab puppy when they consider adopting Legend. He loves to chew, so his home will need to be puppy proofed. He's got lots of energy and needs someone that will help him expend it all. A tired pup is the best pup. He's highly food/treat motivated so training will be easier. And this boy is super smart! Picks up very quickly.
He'd make a great walking, swimming, hiking, or jogging pal. With his love of water, he'd enjoy boats, kayaks, paddleboard. And he's the perfect age to teach him!
Legend is hoping to find a furever home that will take him on adventures! He'd love a kid or two (two or four legged) that would race around the yard with him. Or someone that likes to throw toys for him to chase after. With his love of water, he would likely make a good beach buddy, hiking partner, or even learn to ride in a kayak or on a paddle board.
Legend is a survivor. He's resilient, determined, and full of life. After all...
This is how Legends are made.
