My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lydia is one fun-loving pup!! She loves to play fetch as well as rough house with her doggy friends. Lydia loves stuffed toys, tennis balls, and yummy treats! She is a total people pupper and had a great time meeting small kids. She was very gentle and sweet. Lydia isn't only sweet; she is also super smart. You could teach her anything! She also doesn't mind rocking a cool outfit or accessory. She is such a fun dog! Come meet her and you will see what we are talking about. Lydia does the cutest little hops and booty wiggles when she gets excited and loves to show off her zoomies! She is precious and would love to be your new, playful friend!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
