My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zutano!

Zutano came to us from the Inland Valley Humane Society S.P.C.A. on July 31st. While he was at the shelter, he had neuter and dental surgery. Zutano is 10 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Zutano is a sweet little guy who does well in our play yard with other dogs. He doesn't mind being picked up for a cuddle and is happy to hang out on your lap.

Zutano went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home environment. His Fling Mom reports:

"Zutano takes a while to warm up to people. He is super gentle and never showed any sign of aggression. He is fine being picked up, although he seems to not be familiar of sitting in one's lab. Toward the end of our fling he initiated pets, relaxed more at being held and cuddled, and wanted to be with people most of the time.

Zutano showed interest in wanting to engage with my 2 senior pups. However, he is super respectful of their personal space. My two seniors are not interested in play, but do fine sharing space. Zutatno did a good job of going up to them nicely, sniffing, and reading their cues and leaving them alone.

Zutano enjoys being in the yard and laying out in the sun. Zutano enjoys food very much! He gets very excited during meals times and does zoomies around the room. He sleeps through the night without needing to use the bathroom! During the day, he needs to be let out every 4 hours or so in order to prevent accidents in the house. Once he's outside he will pee within the first few minutes.

Zutano is a super sweet and gentle dog who would do well in a home with other gentle dogs. His fur is super soft and his size makes him perfect for cuddles. Zutano isn't one to get in your face, but instead will come to you and wait patiently for your to give him some love and attention."

Zutano is currently on a second Fling while he waits for his forever home. Might it be with you?
