Persea entered Inland Valley Humane Society S.P.C.A. as a stray. When she wasn't claimed by the end of her hold period, we scooped her up to become a Frosted Face. Persea is about 12 years old and weighs just over 6 lbs.
Persea was clearly well-loved by someone before becoming a stray fending for herself, and although she doesn't need special care or medications, she doesn't thrive in our kennel environment. Thankfully, Persea lives with a Foster family, where she does wonderfully with loving and gentle attention in the cozy comforts of a home.
Her Fling Mom reports:
"Persea is a remarkable dog with is a bit unstable on her feet due to back issues, but it doesn't keep her from getting around. Today at the park, she was speeding around! Persea enjoys life, likes to walk, and nothing slows her down. She has a wonderful attitude.
Persea loves being around humans and doesn't mind other dogs. When I took her to visit a friend, she made an excellent impression. She is such a lovely, friendly girl who is low- maintenance, loves to follow you to see what you're up to, and also likes to walk around to explore & sniff.
Persea likes going for car rides and just going out with her human. Persea enjoys getting a bath and is very good when getting her ears cleaned. She enjoys being outdoors.
Persea likes soft blankets. Last night, she was next to me on the couch, and I covered her with a baby receiving blanket, and she fell right to sleep. She looked like a little burrito!
Persea does like to sit in your lap, especially when I am working at the computer. She likes to sit next to me at night on the couch when watching TV, and she falls into a deep sleep. She can be affectionate with doggie kisses and a rub against my ankle. Persea is a perfect little spoon in bed, too.
Did I mention she is a love bug wanting a forever home? Persea is great company and would love a low-key home with a senior, retirees, or someone who works from home."
If you have a spot in your heart for a tiny, sweet grandma, please consider adopting Persea! To meet her, please email adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org.
