My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack was brought home November of 2023 from KC Pet Project at almost 6 yrs old. In the short time we've had him, it has become unfeasible to continue to afford the costs of allergy medication and due to health reasons we need to find him a more suitable home. Jack is a quirky, independent, silly boy in need of a calm, experienced, adult-only home. While Jack has never shown us signs of pure aggression, we have had behavioral difficulties with biting as his way to communicate or during times of high energy and tension. Jack is very independent in nature. He does not typically seek out affection or desire to be held or pet much other than the occasional scratch or pet to say hello. Examples of bites we have experienced are when he does not wish to be pet anymore/held anymore, or during periods of high energy we have experienced what seem to be unprovoked nips or bites. Jack would do best in an adult-only home, with space to be independent, and understanding of his boundaries and needs.
