My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mimi, a delightful 12-year-old Pit Bull Terrier weighing 63.8 pounds. This sweet and fun-loving lady is full of personality and loves nothing more than following you around. She knows how to sit, shake, and lay down, and she's always eager to impress.

Mimi adores toys and bones, and she enjoys exploring the yard, sniffing around, and showing off her spunky energy. Despite her age, she’s still young at heart and would thrive with daily walks to keep her active. While she keeps her kennel clean, she does have the occasional pee accident, but she's working on it.

Mimi should be the only dog in the home due to her protectiveness over her space and items. Although she got along with her foster’s dog initially, she's shown that sharing her space and resources can be stressful for her. Mimi hasn’t been around children, but with her gentle nature, she may do well with older, respectful kids.

Do you have space in your heart and home for Mimi? Her minimum adoption fee is $195, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents if she’s 4 months or older.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
