Calling all adopters with a heart for disabilities! Gidget is looking for a special home as she is a special kitty! While not special needs per say as she does not require anything outside of routine veterinary care, she does have wobbly kitten syndrome, also known as cerebellar hypoplasia. This is an underdevelopment of the portion of her brain that controls motor abilities. For Gidget, it gives her a tremble, that varies in its presentation depending on her comfort. She is fully mobile with no wobble or stumble, and she can climb and run like any other kitten. She lives a normal life and is expected to have normal life expectancy. She requires no medication and uses the litter box without issue whatsoever. For the right home, we will arrange for her transport anywhere Southwest flies!
Gidget wants you to know:
I am a little shy at first, but I am a true feline huntress at heart; I love to stalk, chase, pounce, and carry my toys away. When I’m not in huntress mode, I enjoy playing with my littermates and entertaining myself with my tail. Speaking of littermates, would you consider adopting me with one of my siblings? Or perhaps you already have a kitten that needs a friend? Having another kitty around helps me grow into the best pet I can be!
I’m looking for an indoor-only home where I can keep my claws forever. I am available as a foster-to-adopt until I'm neutered in July, and then I can be officially adopted. My adoption fee is $70, and as with most active kittens like me, I would live my best life if adopted with another kitten. Pick one from my rescue for a $15 discount on each of us!
Additionally, the ladies who run my rescue like to honor our military (past and present), first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers with a $15 discount as a way to say thanks—and I'll give thanks with purrs.
