My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Billy!
Billy is a striking 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a beautiful black, white, and gray coat that perfectly showcases his breed`s beauty. His captivating heterochromia eyes—one sky blue and the other chocolate brown—add to his unique and handsome appearance. With a large build and a curly tail, Billy is sure to turn heads wherever he goes.

Personality and Traits:
Surprisingly mellow for a husky, Billy brings a balanced blend of energy and calmness. He enjoys chasing after balls and exploring new scents, making him a delightful companion for outdoor adventures and potential tracking activities. Highly trainable and attentive, Billy listens well to commands and is willing to learn. He loves being near people, happily accepts hugs, and doesn`t mind having his paws touched or lifted. On walks, he adapts to a comfortable pace without pulling after a little bit and can calmly pass by other people, showcasing his excellent manners and adaptability.

Ideal Home:
Billy would thrive in a home with someone who has some dog experience and is looking to explore the joys of owning a husky without the typical sassy energy. His easygoing nature makes him a fantastic introduction to the breed. An active family or individual who can provide him with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection will find Billy to be a loyal and loving companion. A home that appreciates his blend of playfulness and tranquility will help Billy flourish and bring out the best in him.

Why Adopt Billy?
If you`ve been considering adding a husky to your life but are wary of the breed`s independence, Billy is the perfect match for you! His calmer demeanor, combined with his trainable and attentive nature, makes him an exceptional companion for those seeking a balanced and loving dog. Billy`s affectionate personality and willingness to bond deeply with his humans ensure that he will quickly become a cherished member of your family. Adopt Billy and embark on a journey of friendship, adventure, and unconditional love.

Go meet their pets

Thank you for your interest in adopting from West Valley City/Taylorsville Animal Services! We would love for you to come to the shelter and meet your new family member.

You can come to the shelter Monday through Friday between 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and walk through to see the animals we have available for adoption.

Please keep in mind that adoptions are first come, first serve. We often have a few pets that would make a good match for each family, so if the animal you are interested in is no longer available, you can still come in and meet some animals to see if there's a good fit.

You can see all of our animals at www.wvcpets.com [wvcpets.com]
