My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goldierocks was found at a local colony that we manage.  She was between rocks along with 4 kittens. She still had on a frayed collar.  Even though she was hungry, she waited till her babies started eating before she tried to eat.  We got the kittens first then mom.  Mom was very tame, the kittens were more shy.  Mom is now spayed and waiting for a home of her own.  She is so personable and sweet and certainly did not deserve the hand she was dealt.  Her kittens are gorgeous tabbies and tabicos, everyone of them having different markings.

More about this rescue

Second Chance For Cats is a nonprofit organization set up to spay or neuter homeless felines, and then adopt, relocate, or release these cats. Our goal is to reduce the free roaming cat population in Bluefield, West Virginia and the surrounding area, and to provide ongoing care, including rabies vaccinations, medical treatment, and food for homeless and neglected cats. Our ultimate goal is to have a rescue and no kill shelter.
