My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Percy: The Cool Big Brother

Percy exudes an aura of calmness, confidence, and independence. He enjoys lounging around and receiving affection on his terms. You'll often find him as the first to the food bowl in the morning, gently tapping your cheek to wake you up for breakfast. At night, he likes to sleep on the bed, just out of reach, keeping you company with his serene presence.
Both Percy and Augie are impeccably house trained and share a single litter box without any issues. They love lounging by open windows, enjoying the sights and scents of the outdoors without ever scratching at screens. Their well-being is enriched by plenty of scratching posts and pads that will accompany them to their new home, along with their beloved toys and litter boxes.

Loving and Sociable

These brothers are not just chill; they're also incredibly affectionate. Unlike most cats, they adore belly rubs and will even stretch out for you to greet them with affection when you return home. Their bond is evident as they enjoy cuddling with each other, soaking in the love and attention.

Dog Friendly

Percy and Augie have been raised alongside a dog and are comfortable with canine companions, provided the dogs are accepting of them. They have experience with a dog "mother," making them adaptable to multi-pet households.

If you're seeking a pair of feline friends who bring a perfect balance of coolness and playfulness into your life, Percy and Augie are eagerly waiting to meet you. They are ready to bring their unique personalities and endless love to their new forever home. They are bonded and must be adopted together.

More about this rescue

Founded in 2016, The Little Lion Foundation is an all volunteer based team dedicated to saving the lives of orphaned kittens in need and finding each and every one the home they deserve. We specialize in the neonatal kittens as well as trauma cases and special needs kittens. We pride ourselves in saving the ones left discarded... from blind to physically special, we believe every kitty is worth fighting for.

We provide each kitten with vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, FIV/FELV test, dewormed, regular flea treatment, and any other medical needs our Little Lions may require and we will stop at nothing to save that precious soul.

We are based in Long Beach, Ca and currently inhabit 3 adoption centers thru PetSmart in Cerritos, Huntington Beach, and Garden Grove. We hold weekly adoption events at either PetSmart locations as well as Pet Food Express in Long Beach.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization and 100% of donations received go directly toward the care of our kitties. We rely solely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our mission going.
