Looking for an older pup to share your home with? Meet Ricardio! This sweet boy came to us as a stray, and we're not sure why no one came looking for his handsome lad. But Ricardio doesn't let that get him down, he's just as spritely and happy as ever! Ricardio is in good shape for an older middle aged pup, and aside from his handsome salt-and-pepper face you'd never know his age. He is out of all that high energy puppy stage, but more than happy to accompany you for a walk or a lap around the yard. Ricardio is ready to find his retirement home and a family he can give all his love to! If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Ricardio home. If you are interested in meeting Ricardio, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.

OUR MISSION: It is the mission of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center & Shelter to provide an environment of continuous improvement; emphasizing excellent service and safety for the community; providing the dogs and people of Fairfield County protection, care, and compassion with innovative, yet sustainable means; all while maintaining a standard of the utmost integrity.

It is the purpose of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center and Shelter to embrace the dogs of the community; to keep lost or adoptable dogs safe until they can find their way home; to protect Fairfield County through the enforcement of Section 955 of the Ohio Revised Code , and to continue to provide the community with education opportunities on the importance of pet safety and population control.
