Nellie is a beautiful, extremely sweet lab/? mix that loves people and loves to play. She has wonderful energy and will happily go on a walk with you or lay at your feet. Nellie is potty trained, crate trained, sleeps through the night and enjoys car rides and walks. She loves our children and our other dogs both male and female. Nellie is a very good listener and is very smart. She is now spayed and completely healed. Nellie is heart worm positive but has completed her 28 days of her antibiotic and has had 2 months of the topical preventative. The shelter does cover the remainder of the 6 month heart worm treatment which is not dangerous or contagious to other pets. The shelter also covers a retest for heart worms at the 6 month mark after starting treatment (which will be the end of February of 2025 for Nellie). Our family has been fostering Nellie since August 12th to get her healthy, spayed and start heart worm treatment. She is an amazing dog that is now ready for an amazing future. Are you the lucky person/family that gets to add Nellie to your life?
