My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is the sweetest kitty I've had the pleasure of caring for. She is very loving and affectionate but can also quietly keep company with her person while they work. She loves to be picked up and receive all the kisses on the top of her head. She has been easy going and affectionate with my 2 small, cat friendly dogs and also enjoys their company. She has excellent litter box manners and is enjoying having a cardboard scratcher. Lucy was a stray and had a litter of kittens which she has been an exceptionally good mother to while being a very young cat herself at barely a year old. She has been affectionate and compliant for all of her veterinary care. Lucy would do well in a home with someone who wants to have a velcro kitty. She likes to be near her person. She would probably do well with older children who are generally quiet and gentle with animals. She would make a great companion for a single person who needs some company or maybe a couple looking for a sweet and easy going kitty. Because she has been with her kittens, I have not been able to really test her with my cats. She did have one meeting with my very social male and she asked him to give her space and he did, she remained tense, however. I think she would do best being an only cat but can be with calm, cat friendly dogs. Lucy is truly a little gem who is going to fill our heart with joy!
