Meet Luke, our stunning sweetheart! Luke is a friendly and loving boy who just wants to be loved. Initially shy, he has blossomed into an affectionate boy who will happily spend his days nestled up by your side. When he lets his guard down, this gentle guy is the ultimate cuddler; he will soak up all the affection he can get! During playtime, Luke loves to play with all kinds of different toys and will keep himself entertained as he runs back and forth through his cat tunnel with ball on the string attached. He also loves to play up high on his cat tower. Some snuggle sessions may include a gentle nibble here and there, but it is just a symbol of Luke expressing his love to you. Loud noises can scare him, but once you start to pet him and reassure him that he’s safe, he will immediately relax into your pets. Luke can be timid around loud noises and new people, but thrives in the company of other cats! He would do well in a home with a confident cat friend who can show him the ropes. Luke is also motivated by food, which is a great way for his future adopter to bond with him. We aren’t sure about dogs, but he will do well with quiet, respectful children.

Luke came to us a stray. As such, we don’t know his history and although we can’t ask him, we suspect he may have had a home at some time. While never aggressive in any way, this may be why he’s a bit skittish.
